CIRCA Sightings

Last Sunday, November 4th, CIRCA supported the National Museum of Women in the Arts at the 25th Anniversary Fall Benefit in Washington DC. The evening kicked off with cocktails and an exclusive look at the Women Who Rock exhibit, illustrating the importance of women within pop culture from the 1920’s up until today. These iconic ensembles were from spectacular performances where these women truly rocked the stage!

Post-dinner founder of the museum, Wilhelmina Cole Holladay, awarded singer/songwriter and breast cancer survivor Melissa Etheridge with the NMWA Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts. Her acoustic performance included hits Come to My Window and I Run for Life

The National Museum of Women in the Arts is the only museum in the world dedicated solely to women’s artistic contributions.  The museum not only addresses the gender imbalance in art, but assures a place of honor for female creative minds today and in the future.

Please join CIRCA in furthering our support for the NMWA. When selling jewelry you no longer wear to CIRCA, simply mention the NMWA and 10% of the purchase value will be donated to the museum.

Happy 25th Anniversary to the NMWA and congratulations to Melissa Etheridge!
